Biomedical Polymers, Inc. used a Jomar, 135-ton injection blow molding machine to produce these 500 ml centrifuge bottles for use in a biopharmaceutical production application. We also supplied a platinum-cured O-ring and sterilized the bottles in a Class 100 clean room before packaging them under a Class 10 hood.
Our skilled and experienced employees manufactured the polypropylene part, which weighs approximately 55.5 grams, to +.005″/-.000″ tolerances.
We produced 65,000 parts, as per the blanket order, with quarterly releases. We then bagged and placed the parts in 16″ x 12″ x 19″ cartons for delivery to our biopharmaceutical industry client in Massachusetts.
