BMP Cytology Funnels
for the Shandon CytoSpin® Centrifuge

BMP Cytology Funnels are the functional equivalent of the Thermo Shandon CytoFunnel®. Fully compatible with the Shandon CytoSpin Centrifuge, BMP Cytology Funnels can be used to deposit a thin layer of cells in a clearly defined area of a microscope slide. The filter card absorbs any excess fluid. Operation is identical to those supplied by Shandon and easy-to-follow instructions are included in each pack.

New Patented Disposable Cytology Funnel Clips

We are proud to introduce a disposable plastic clip which is designed as a replacement for metal clips. As with the metal clips, the plastic clips hold the cytology funnels snuggly against the microscope slide during the centrifugation process. The plastic clips are disposable and eliminate the time and labor required to sanitize the metal clips after each use.

BMP Metal Cytology Funnel Clips

BMP Metal Clips for our Cytology Funnels are similar in design to those previously provided by Shandon. These stainless steel metal clips will not rust or corrode during decontamination.

BMP Single Cytology Funnel

BMP Single Cytology Funnel
with Brown Filter Card

We have expanded the product offering of our Cytology Funnels to include the disposable funnels with the brown filter cards. The new part number is BMP-CYTO-S50BP. The funnels are packaged and priced the same as the BMP-CYTO-S50's. These funnels are specifically designed for use with sample volumes less than 0.4 mL. The brown filter cards allow for a slower absorption of the fluids and is used when the researcher is working with scanty samples. One of the major applications is for use with Spinal Fluids. Like our other cytology funnels these new brown filter card funnels work and look exactly like the Shandon products that they are replacing.
